About Us
As the owner of Phantom Creek Taxidermy, I have turned a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing into a small taxidermy business. While growing up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan I learned everything I could from my dad, uncle, and grandpa. After graduating high school, I joined the U.S. Army where I have had the pleasure of living and hunting in multiple states across the country.
After I was medically retired from the Army, I began working for a buddy in his taxidermy and tanning shop where my desire to own my own business grew. After finally settling down in Divide, CO, I attended the Central Texas School of Taxidermy where I learned and trained under several award-winning taxidermists.
I also enjoy woodworking, so I try to make all my own plaques, pedestals, and habitats to give everything a personal touch compared to mass-produced products from taxidermy supply companies. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to preserve your trophies and memories to last a lifetime. I take pride in producing the best quality mount and treat it as if it were my own. Your satisfaction is my top priority.
